3 Awards: Shine on, One Lovely Blog, Blog of the Year 2012

Lovely Blog Shine onblog of the year

It has been almost a year (next month) that I will have been blogging for ONE YEAR! I shared with one of my blogging buddies Naphtali that I have enjoyed these past months so much! I enjoyed just being able to brain dump when others don’t want to listen LOL …. and then having an awesome blogging community that is here to read it all!

I am kind of proud in the fact that I only missed one month! Sounds weird but just to only miss one month out of twelve is good in my opinion.

So anyway, I found out that my blogging buddy had nominated me for 3 awards!

Shine On

One Lovely Blog

Blog of the Year 2012

… and I can say I am truly humbled and honored to receive such! I pray this blog is blessing to all of my followers and to those who are just passing by!

The Lovely Blog Award asks each nominee to write 7 interesting things…

1. I am a lefty

2. My favorite scripture in the bible is Deuteronomy 23:12

12 Designate a place outside the camp where you can go to relieve yourself. 13 As part of your equipment have something to dig with, and when you relieve yourself, dig a hole and cover up your excrement. 14 For the Lord your God moves about in your camp to protect you and to deliver your enemies to you. Your camp must be holy, so that he will not see among you anything indecent and turn away from you.

** I could not believe God talked about Doo-Doo in the camp**

3. You cannot catch a cold from going outside with no coat on

4. My husband is a lefty

5. Our middle child is a lefty

6. I love playing the Sims 3 .. (my secret addiction)

7. Being up insanely high makes the bottom of my feet hurt

Now I have the honor of nominating some of my fellow bloggers for these three wonderful awards …

and the nominees are …

I nominated these two women of God not because I personally know them but because they are young and on fire and truly not ashamed of the gospel. They inspire me to be the best I can be. I love them and Congrats Ladies

…  honestly there are so many more that I read and follow and they bless me every time!

OH and I cannot forget a BIG THANK YOU to all of my followers … for those who have just joined me in this journey and for those who have been here from the very beginning … THANK YOU!!!

God Bless and Happy Blogging!

Is it in You?

So, I know you all read about my little disaster I had on yesterday if not you can click here.

I also shared with a few of you that I would go home hunker down and re-do it. Well, that didn’t happen either LOL many are that plans in a moms heart … but only the purpose of the children and husband prevail LOL … that’s my spin on it.

The post was about “Declaring War” .. My Pastors have been teaching and preaching (I mean like rhema word from heaven) on waging war and understanding that the weapons of our warfare our not carnal but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds.

Understanding that we are battling kingdom vs kingdom.

Understanding that there is a season for everything a time for war and a time for peace.

Understanding that you may  be called to fight and we need to be ready to respond to the call.

My Pastor said …

“Why are we so passive .. when the enemy is so aggressive”

It reminds me of a bully.

And the child getting picked on gets sick and tired of it and finally takes a stand and says ..

That is Enough.

We as a body of believers need to come to point with the enemy when we say that is enough!

We need to and ought to be sick and tired of seeing the enemy running a muck in our homes, in our children, in our spouses, in the lives of other saints and in our churches.

In our homes husbands still want to be boys and you cannot tell the difference between them and your sons. They take the back seat to confrontation instead of stepping up and exercising the God-given authority placed in them.

Our children running around confused, living a lie and accepting it, being abused and neglected finding affirmation in strange men and women who only look to prostitute them and  their gifts because their gifting go unnoticed in their own home.

Our children hollering they are gay and were born that way … the devil is a liar. My bible clearly tells me that we were made in His image and likeness .. created He them .. and what God made was perfect and He was pleased.

.. and if that still won’t sway you then you can be born again.

We should be sick of the enemy coming in and scattering God’s sheep.

Saints being blown about with every wind of  doctrine and people’s cunning craftiness and deceit.

Mere babes in Christ … separated and drawn away by the enemy enticed and drawn out by their own lust and led straight to slaughter.

Saints chasing after Pastors, Bishops, Prophets, Apostles all because of a title. When did your title and an outfit define power?

I was talking with a family member and they were sharing with me details of a conference they had attended. They went on to explain to me how the bad  the preachers outfit was and the high heels and the false eye lashes … I said in response

“Oh ok … but did she have any power”

You can look great, you can have a form of Godliness but the whole time you are shouting and jumping around you have no power.

It is a sad thing that some define one as having power and as being anointed by the attire that they wear. If that is the case some of us me being included have a problem!

But  the word clearly tells me that once the Holy Spirit has come upon you … you shall receive power.

And we wonder why people walk around saying they want an encounter with God and they sit in church sunday after sunday .. and have not changed and your congregation has not changed because they have not truly encountered the true power, presence and anointing of God.

We define kingdom as being jeans on Sunday. While all of that is fine and dandy. We cannot confuse the two as the bible says Kingdom is not outward, kingdom is within us. (Luke 17)

Kingdom of God is righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. (Romans 14)

The perception of real power the perception of Kingdom … is warped.

Our brothers and sisters are being led out the church and bamboozled. I think it might have been Paul who asked the church:

“Who tricked you?”

Who drew you from out of the presence of God?

Who tricked you into believe that what they had to offer was better than what God has already established since the foundations of the earth?

Who has exalted himself about the throne, the knowledge, the wisdom of God?

Once they have been drawn out they get angry with the house of God.

James 1 tells us

14 but each person is tempted when they are dragged away by their own evil desire and enticed.

But they are angry with the church but failed to realize that the watchmen sounded the alarm and warned you. But it was you who did not take heed. So no longer is the blood on the hands of the watchmen but yours.

It’s a dangerous thing almost a cancer to the body of Christ.

We are in a brutal battle family.

And we are watching whole nations fall off as casualties.

it should be and ought to be a sin to see our brothers and sisters being dragged out, beat down and going through and living in sin.

We have to understand that this fight is more than just ourselves but this fight is for every generation that is to come and for every nation that is attached to us.

Its time out for politicking and parlaying with the enemy.

It is time out for us accepting his lies.

Time out for living defeated.

Time out for not who we are.

We all have been hand-picked by God for a special purpose. He called us His own. We are His children.

We have been made in His likeness ..

We are a …

Royal Nation

Holy priesthood

His peculiar treasure

.. The same spirit that dwells within the God that created and formed the frames of the earth and the heavens in 7 days, parted the red sea and allowed the children of Israel to walk on dry ground. The same God who pulled us out of darkness with an outstretched arm and the same God who breathed His life into us .. and said

“Greater works shall you do”

.. and we sit back and let the enemy act a complete fool while we watch people spiritually die.

The same spirit that rose our savior from the dead … dwells within us.

and we sit back on it and close our lips to lies.

Do you not know that whatever you conform and submit yourself to .. you then become subject to its lifestyle and whatever comes with it?

And we let our people on our pastors, lie on our God and His church.

Like my Pastors prayed for me .. I pray for you also.

that a warrior be birthed within you.

We need to be a little more like David.

Do not worry about their faces, Jeremiah.

Even though they are coming against you and seem to have a lot of opinions but no solutions keep building my wall with a hammer in one hand in a sword in another, Nehemiah.

Finally, be strong in the Lord and the power of His might, (Saints).

Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.

12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace.

16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.

God Bless You …

So Distraught .. I cannot think of a title

Hi Everyone …

I have some depressing news that I have to share.

This is just as worse as typing your term paper in college … working on that project for that final grade that makes up over 70% of your grade.

.. and when you have made it into the last bend and you trip over your finger and press that mystery button that somehow manages to delete everything.

You depend on auto save but for some reason the devil blocked it and it just did not save anything but one word.

Well … that is what happened to me and the post I was working on.

I am highly upset lol … I almost cried and had a meltdown at my desk literally. I had to text my Pastor to inform him … it was a close call I almost needed prayer.

Some angels dispatched on my behalf … I thought I was going to lose it.

But by the grace and mercies of God LOL … I am still here and will attempt to re-do my post.

I prayed that God will bring it all back to my remembrance … because His word said He will do just that.

But don’t you love God … and how He cares about every detail of your life and that we are so free in His love and presence and that we can come to Him as a child even with the most simple request.

and how out of His faithfulness and love and I believe out of  Him having a sense of humor He will do just what we have requested!

Wow … just me thinking on His goodness and faithfulness has me made me feel better!!

His word tells us He will give us the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness!!

God Bless you all
