My Two Cents ….

One thing I have noticed (if I can share my two cents) … is how lethargic people are to prophecy. The word tells us not to despise prophecy another version says not treat prophecy with contempt. Even in the old testament people told the prophets to stop prophesying!
Most of us run to horoscopes and fortune tellers and palm-readers, taro cards and the like but never think to seek the Creator of all things for direction and to know what the future holds for them.
Prophecy wasn’t given to us to simply “tickle our fancy” but to set our lives in motion, to unlock things, to establish, to encourage, edify and comfort and to give direction. Prophecy helps you set focus, tells you what’s worth fighting for and what just isn’t worth it. Paul told Timothy to keep the prophecies made about him and to recall them so that he may fight the battle well.
Without a vision/prophetic vision people perish. It is important for us to know what God’s thoughts toward us are so we do not settle and conform to just anything an anyone. It is important to know what God wants to establish in our lives so that we don’t waste time with dead things. It is important that we know where God wants to take us so that we don’t wonder around the mountain for 40years!

I dare you all to seek out the word of the Lord for your lives.

A Vision: The Praying Man

God came to me a few nights ago and showed me a vision of a man kneeling in sand and praying. As the man prayed beneath his legs a concrete foundation was formed and as he continued to kneel the concrete foundation began to extend into the ground and as the foundation went into the depths of the sand the man also began to rise up (this occurred simultaneously) as the cement foundation went down into the sand it also lifted the praying man into the air as this occurred the man as well turned into cement thus becoming a statue.

God revealed that in this season as we turn to seek Him, He will in turn establish and raise us up as a beacon among the people.

He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him and He is a public rewarder of those who seek Him in secret.

Tap into Greatness….

Philippians 1:6

King James Version (KJV)

Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ

Jeremiah tells us that all of God’s thoughts towards us are good and none of evil to give a hope and a future and an expected end. The book of Peter also tells us to think it not strange the fiery trials that come to try you as though some strange thing is happening.  The book of James tells us to consider it pure joy whenever we face trails because the testing of our faith produces perseverance.

When we face trails often times we forget just what the word tells us to do. When we face uncertain situations, hopeless situations and bleak outcomes we tend to forget who we are. We forget promises made to us, we forget who God is and all that He can do.

We then find ourselves acting out of anger and fear, we no longer seek God’s peace and sovereignty. Instead we begin to lean unto our own understanding.

I had a situation only an hour ago that brought me (so quickly) to my wit’s end. I found myself upset and in tears fussing at everything and everyone. I found myself on the phone ready to give a piece of my mind. I was ready to throw in the towel and walk away… and over what?

A trail that only came to test me.

A trail that only came to test my faith and produce perseverance.

A reminder from my Father, that there is greater in me.

A reminder that He has given me hope and future and an expected end.

Instead of continuing in my anger and quickly approaching  wrath. I decided to remember all of God’s promises for me and my family. I began to tap into that “greatness” He placed on the inside of me and use the mind of Christ He that He told me that I had.

I implore you today to do likewise.

Do not allow outside influences and circumstances dictate you. Take a hold of that which has been promised to you before you were formed in your mother’s womb. It doesn’t matter what you go through now, or who hurt you, who you owe, what you don’t have…

Know that your present sufferings DO NOT compare to the glory that is to be revealed.

Tap into your greatness today and trust God.

God Bless and Happy Blogging

Article: How Jezebel’s False Doctrine Distorts God’s Grace and Truth

I came across another wonderful article today!

This was a great read and say what you want LOL I thoroughly enjoyed it.

There is just something about it that makes me leap in my spirit and gets me excited and ready to combat, tear down and over throw the enemy.

There is something about setting God’s people free seeing them healed, set free and delivered from the grips of the enemy.

I pray that God uses me as His weapon of choice to destroy the kingdom of darkness and release all of its captives… but only on the condition that they want to go.

What shocks me every time is that people refuse to believe that the weapons of our warfare are not carnal. They refuse to believe that we are in a spiritual battle and not everything is as it may seem.

There are way too many people within the body who are deceived and who are being deceived and there are people who are content with being deceived because it is easier to live a lie than to confront the lie and fight to live for the truth.

We need to understand that we are most definitely in the last days.

We cannot afford to take things lightly when the end is near Jesus is coming soon and people still have no reverence and no concern of that which is holy.

Everyone is always shouting …

“YOLO!”

… and you know what you’re right..

….You do Only Live Once…

Ephesians 5 tells us:

“8 For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light (for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth) 10 and find out what pleases the Lord. 11 Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them. 12 It is shameful even to mention what the disobedient do in secret. 13 But everything exposed by the light becomes visible—and everything that is illuminated becomes a light. 14 This is why it is said:

“Wake up, sleeper,
    rise from the dead,
and Christ will shine on you.”

15 Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, 16 making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. 17 Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is.”

Jesus!

I pray that we all wake up and come to a full understanding and realization of who Christ is and who we are and most importantly who we are in Him.

I am not saying this as though I have arrived and I have all the answers.

I don’t know it all but I serve a God who does and like Apostle Paul said

“I press”

So like my Prophetess says

“We need to grow up”

I pray that all believers begin to crave like never before God’s spiritual milk so that by it we may grow up in our salvation.

I pray that our eyes be opened and that we come into a full understanding of God’s reality.

I pray that we sharpened and quickened in our spirit man, let us no longer be dulled and desensitized by things of our flesh and the things of this world.

In Jesus Name.

So, I have already said enough!

Enjoy and Happy Blogging.

How Jezebel’s False Doctrine Distorts God’s Grace and Truth

Jesus clearly warned His church against Jezebel’s false doctrines, but this ancient evil has succeeded in hiding behind the mask of control and manipulation while few recognize its deeper agenda. Indeed, most do not see Jezebel as the propagator of false doctrines that give the saints a license to sin.

The Greek word for Jezebel in Rev. 2:20 is actually a synonym for false teacher. Jezebel is teaching false doctrines. I believe one of the false doctrines Jezebel is pushing is a distorted message of God’s grace.

Here’s how it works: Jezebel first seduces you into immorality and idolatry—or drunkenness or homosexuality—by telling you it’s OK. After you’ve fallen into the trap, Jezebel’s doctrine eases your conscience by telling you your past, present and future sins are already forgiven—that there’s no need to repent. In fact, Jezebel would not repent (Rev. 2:21)—and neither do those who are seduced by this spirit’s false doctrine. This is a dangerous, even damnable error.

Jezebel Would Not Repent

Despite its good works, love, service, faith and patience, Jesus had a few things against the church at Thyatira because its leadership allowed a false prophetess named Jezebel to teach and seduce His servants to commit sexual immorality and idolatry (Rev. 2:20). Jesus said:

“And I gave her time to repent of her sexual immorality, and she did not repent. Indeed I will cast her into a sickbed, and those who commit adultery with her into great tribulation, unless they repent of their deeds. I will kill her children with death, and all the churches shall know that I am He who searches the minds and hearts. And I will give to each one of you according to your works” (vv. 21-23).

Jesus went on to give an encouraging word to the rest in Thyatira: “As many as do not have this doctrine, who have not known the depths of Satan, as they say, I will put on you no other burden” (v. 24). That confirms that Jezebel was guilty of teaching false doctrines. But for those who did not embrace Jezebel’s false doctrine, Jesus encouraged them, “Hold fast what you have till I come” (v. 25). In other words, don’t give into this false doctrine—don’t be deceived.

Article: Why You Need Prophecy

Morning.

I found another good article concerning the importance of prophecy in a believer’s life. So many times we see people who take prophecy lightly and it literally goes in one ear and out of the other.

People of God .. for those who are surrounded by prophetic leaders when they speak into your life WRITE IT DOWN. Words carry power, if God has placed something in their spirit for you and they come to you to release what thus saith the Lord you need to take it seriously! God says that the words He speaks NEVER returns to Him void, they accomplish just what He calls it do. Take those prophecies from long ago and meditate on them.

I like to “remind” God and most importantly remind MYSELF of what He has spoken, destined and determined for my life. So that I may be encouraged and go on to fight this fight of faith, for my life, the life of my husband our children, our family and whatever else may be connected.

Stop regurgitating God’s words.

.. Enjoy

Why You Need Prophecy

By. Michelle McClain

“Where there is no prophecy the people cast off restraint, but blessed is he who keeps the law” (Prov. 29:18, RSV).

Prophecy provides revelation of the purposes of God. It is the revealed will of God for your life. “Where there is no prophecy the people cast off restraint.” “Casting off restraint” is letting go of your goals and focus in life. You become passionless, living an undisciplined, mediocre life. Without prophetic revelation, we lose a grip on life and become like a wild person. Without prophecy, we become like savages, never grasping the potential God has placed within us. Prophecy can inspire within us a sense of purpose that brings focus, determination and discipline into our lives.

The prophetic word will align our lives with the law, which is the decree of God. Without prophetic vision, we will be untrained in the ways of God, living our lives without the discipline of God.

We are called to be disciples of Christ. A disciple is a disciplined learner. The prophetic ministry will equip you with the advantage of living under the discipline of God.

The disadvantage of not having prophecy released in your life is that you will live your life in a vacuum. One translation of Proverbs 29:18 states, “Without prophetic vision the people run wild” (GW). In other words, they live life taking risks with no control or direction, leaving them uncultivated, out of rhythm and out of reason.

The prophetic word brings order and structure to your life. God wants your life to mean something—your money, your efforts. The prophetic word of God causes you to live your life for something greater than yourself.

Life and time are speeding along so fast for all of us. We should be able to look back over our lives and say that we have accomplished the purpose God created us for. We should want to be able to confidently say, “I was here.”

The prophetic word will allow you to live for eternal purpose and not the temporal. It changes your value system. Once the revealed purpose of the Lord is known, you set your affections on things above, transcending this temporal world. There are people who live their lives never knowing or obeying the prophetic purpose of God. The graveyard is one of the richest places in the earth. People live and die on the earth with so much potential for greatness. They never impact the world around them.

Don’t let your gravestone epitaph read: “It was like they were never here.” “They settled for too little.” “They never discovered the riches and treasures that were inside of them.” “They lived for the temporal, fading purposes, never living out God’s eternal purposes.”

Life before Christ can be so devastating and confusing. It’s like having the wind knocked out of you. The prophetic word provides spiritual oxygen for life and destiny. Prophecy is the breath of life being released back into you. When God breathed into Adam, He released life and prophetic purpose into him. We must understand that God will always give us pictures, maps and directions to show us how we should be living our lives. His will for our lives is knowable. This is revealed by prophecy. Everything
in the earth is trying to take us away from the original purposes of God for our lives. It dangles every kind of glitter in front of us. Its ultimate goal is to lead us down paths of destruction.

God, in His love and mercy, sends prophets and prophetic people with insight and direction. We must then make a decision to follow and align our lives with the revealed prophetic word. We must go to the cross. I am not talking about suffering, but rather where your desires are in conflict with God’s desires—you must be willing to put those
desires to death on the cross.

The moment you choose to align your life with the prophetic purpose of God, the Lord is watching and sends every resource you need to accomplish His prophetic purpose in your life. You’re not in this world by chance. Embrace the prophetic anointing that gives you an advantage to live a rich and full life.

Judge not Lest Ye be Jugded?

“Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.”

Matthew 7:1-2

This may not be a new observation to some, but this world is crazy.

The word says in 2 Timothy

“But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God— having a form of godliness but denying its power.”Have nothing to do with such people”.

I am sure the majority reading this will say yep, I have seen most of , if not all of this in operation whether it be on the television, in our own personal lives or just in day-to-day activities.

But I do firmly believe that in all this there are still a few called and chosen ones who just have not been pulled out from this monotonous circle.

There is still a people who are waiting for the son’s of glory to be revealed. I do believe they are coming, matter of fact they are here.

The question is, are we as a body in position to receive them?

Is our light shining?

Or have we forgotten where we have come from and we have thrown them aside as if our God is not loving or compassionate? As if our God cannot extend His graces and mercy to them?

As if He would not have it that all men be saved?

I know often times we are quick to judge.

I know as for myself I am quick to judge.

Often times, we quickly jump up and say what we and what we not do if we were to be in a situation.

Often times, we label them as a bad person, a bad mother, a bad father a bad child and we fully do not understand that there is something underlying that is motivating this child to pick on some one.

There is an underlying force that is causing this father to abandon his children and live a life in the streets, there was an underlying force that caused a mom to give up her child.

We never take that into consideration.

I shared with a co-worker of mine that … I can easily say what I would and would not do in any given situation…

but if  something  really went down in my life where it shoved me into the corner and forced me to make a hasty decision … all odds seem stacked against me and this option might be the only way out … I don’t know how to pray I don’t know how to call on the name of Jesus.

I don’t know that there is someone out there to help me or I just don’t know there is other options ..

there is really no telling what I would do.

I might just be the mom who decided to leave her child some where, I might be the woman that sells her body, I might be the man who left his kids, I might be the school bully, I might be the drug addict.

Now, in no way do I justify wrong that has been done but I am just saying that we need to be a little more understanding and not so quick to write others off.

Imagine if God was like us.

I am glad He is not.

We need to build up the whole man, we don’t need to remind people of what they have done. I am sure they are fully aware.

God forgives me constantly, yet He never reminds me of the wrong I have done and as a matter of fact He takes my sins and throws them into the sea of forgetfulness.

He looks at where we are going versus where we have been with the only reason for us to remember is that we can say that He pulled us out from bondage and set us free.

So let us like Paul said think soberly of ourselves and not more highly than we ought … unless we deceive ourselves.

” Brothers and sisters, if someone is caught in a sin, you who live by the Spirit should restore that person gently. But watch yourselves, or you also may be tempted. Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ. If anyone thinks they are something when they are not, they deceive themselves”.

Galatians 6: 1-3

Sharing is Caring … part II

Hey Fellow Bloggers!

I pray that you all have had a wonderful day! It is currently 91 degrees here in Richmond … and while it is hot I am still enjoying all of it!

I just wanted to share with you all briefly what God pressed into my spirit this morning while in prayer!

LOL … I laugh at that because it sounds so deep and so ultra spiritual … and while it is spiritual the act of praying and communicating and talking to my Father, it really won’t all that deep. I was actually praying in my car on the way to work.

I try to challenge myself and pray in my heavenly language the entire way to work …

Anyway, while I was praying God pressed in my spirit and I mean literally I could feel it on my heart and in my chest so heavily .. I do not know how you hear a feeling but that is exactly what happened!

But what I heard/felt was …

“That the Body of Christ is great  and it’s alive and that the Bride is being adorned and she is beautiful”

I was so excited and filled with such joy it was incredible … but as always I encourage you Saints and Children of God to keep pressing.  We are His church we are the Body and Christ is our Bridegroom and the Head of our lives and He is coming back for a church without spot or wrinkle.

I do pray in this season that we all stand together in unity … a unity as never before. I pray that we stand with the full understanding that we are many parts that make up one great and awesome body. Regardless of your function you are needed and there no big “I” and little “Me’s” or “You’s” in this thing.

There is one great “Him” though! LOL

I also found myself praying that in this season God will begin to pour out His spirit on all flesh and that a great prophetic voice begin to rise up within the body. I prayed also that a great evangelism will begin to take place in the land and that God would begin to raise up a people that will set the pace and that will show people the difference between holy and unholy. In Ezekiel God had priests who dressed a certain way and wore their hair a certain way and were set apart so that everyone would know the difference between the things that are holy and the things that are not.

I prayed that this will begin to take place in the land and that people would see and know … and that great and strong conviction would rise within the people and they would have and experience a true repentance and have a true turning away from sin.

I am always amazed … that we are one body with many different parts. I am totally in awe and I am honored and often humbled to be in fellowship to labor with the people that I do within my church. It is important that you know those who labor among you .. not just so you can say who is lazy and who doesn’t work or handle things in the same manner as you but to be able to utilize what God has placed within them.

It took me time to realize that for myself honestly .. if I can be real.

So many times people within the body spend so much times looking at what so and so does and can do that we don’t realize that we ourselves are fearfully and wonderfully made.

It is enough being me … why in the world would I try to be someone else.

Doing way too much!

So with that, encourage you to embrace who you are and who you have been created to be. Have full confidence in God that when He created He knew exactly what He was doing and why and know that we have not fully obtained the fullness of Christ but we PRESS!
