My Two Cents ….

One thing I have noticed (if I can share my two cents) … is how lethargic people are to prophecy. The word tells us not to despise prophecy another version says not treat prophecy with contempt. Even in the old testament people told the prophets to stop prophesying!
Most of us run to horoscopes and fortune tellers and palm-readers, taro cards and the like but never think to seek the Creator of all things for direction and to know what the future holds for them.
Prophecy wasn’t given to us to simply “tickle our fancy” but to set our lives in motion, to unlock things, to establish, to encourage, edify and comfort and to give direction. Prophecy helps you set focus, tells you what’s worth fighting for and what just isn’t worth it. Paul told Timothy to keep the prophecies made about him and to recall them so that he may fight the battle well.
Without a vision/prophetic vision people perish. It is important for us to know what God’s thoughts toward us are so we do not settle and conform to just anything an anyone. It is important to know what God wants to establish in our lives so that we don’t waste time with dead things. It is important that we know where God wants to take us so that we don’t wonder around the mountain for 40years!

I dare you all to seek out the word of the Lord for your lives.

Sharing is Caring Part III

I just wanted to share something I have been pondeing on.

It is important that we stay sober and vigilant in everything that we do.

2 Peter 5:8 tells us

“Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.”

Our adversary, the devil, is sneaky, he is cunning and he is a liar and seeking to do nothing but destroy.

I know lately God has been showing me the little things that I do or say, the little things that I choose to look over.

He has been showing me how the one thing I tend to overlook can become a foothold  for the enemy to come right on in.

God has been showing me how the little things I say can create a whirl-wind of problems.

Sometimes we as people focus on the “BIG” things … all the while looking over the small things because

“Hey what can something that small really do?”

Well, the word says

“Do not despise small beginnings”.

and it tells us that in James 3

“big ships are steered by small rudders”

Although those scriptures are used in a different context I just want to give to the picture of how we should not over look small things.

My Apostle and Prophetess always say to “pay attention to the details!”

The Song of Solomon says

“Take us the foxes, the little foxes, that spoil the vines: for our vines have tender grapes.”

I ask God all the time show me those little things that can hinder me from hearing you, those little things that grieve you!

It reminds me of when I am cleaning and I continue to move the obvious things that are out-of-place, once they have been put back in their proper place I am now stuck with a lot of little things and my house is still a mess!

So, instead of taking the time to sort through the small things, I throw them in another pile and once I am done with I did not effectively sort through and remove the junk I just made it into some thing larger.

What you do not confront now, will confront you later.

So, I can skip around my junk all day and for the next few weeks but a day is going to come when I am going to have to deal with it and by then more than likely it is larger than before.

Pray and ask God to show you those “small” things that can give place to the enemy.

We cannot run around here like those who have no hope do! We cannot run around saying what ever we feel in that instant, we cannot be controlled by our shaky little emotions.

But we are to go forth in confidence, and knowing that our God is great and if we call on Him He will surely deliver us from our troubles.

The word says to pray about EVERYTHING.

We have to come to a point in our walk in relationship with Christ that we say “Ok, that is enough of that. Time to put this behind me”

I believe for each level in Christ that we climb to we come to those pivotal moments where we either accept and mature or we don’t.

I pray that you be quick to respond and correct the situation through help and guidance of the Holy  Spirit !

We serve a good God who is patient and who said that the perfect work He has begun in us He will complete.

Just wanted to share …

Oh and Happy Blogging!

Judge not Lest Ye be Jugded?

“Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.”

Matthew 7:1-2

This may not be a new observation to some, but this world is crazy.

The word says in 2 Timothy

“But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God— having a form of godliness but denying its power.”Have nothing to do with such people”.

I am sure the majority reading this will say yep, I have seen most of , if not all of this in operation whether it be on the television, in our own personal lives or just in day-to-day activities.

But I do firmly believe that in all this there are still a few called and chosen ones who just have not been pulled out from this monotonous circle.

There is still a people who are waiting for the son’s of glory to be revealed. I do believe they are coming, matter of fact they are here.

The question is, are we as a body in position to receive them?

Is our light shining?

Or have we forgotten where we have come from and we have thrown them aside as if our God is not loving or compassionate? As if our God cannot extend His graces and mercy to them?

As if He would not have it that all men be saved?

I know often times we are quick to judge.

I know as for myself I am quick to judge.

Often times, we quickly jump up and say what we and what we not do if we were to be in a situation.

Often times, we label them as a bad person, a bad mother, a bad father a bad child and we fully do not understand that there is something underlying that is motivating this child to pick on some one.

There is an underlying force that is causing this father to abandon his children and live a life in the streets, there was an underlying force that caused a mom to give up her child.

We never take that into consideration.

I shared with a co-worker of mine that … I can easily say what I would and would not do in any given situation…

but if  something  really went down in my life where it shoved me into the corner and forced me to make a hasty decision … all odds seem stacked against me and this option might be the only way out … I don’t know how to pray I don’t know how to call on the name of Jesus.

I don’t know that there is someone out there to help me or I just don’t know there is other options ..

there is really no telling what I would do.

I might just be the mom who decided to leave her child some where, I might be the woman that sells her body, I might be the man who left his kids, I might be the school bully, I might be the drug addict.

Now, in no way do I justify wrong that has been done but I am just saying that we need to be a little more understanding and not so quick to write others off.

Imagine if God was like us.

I am glad He is not.

We need to build up the whole man, we don’t need to remind people of what they have done. I am sure they are fully aware.

God forgives me constantly, yet He never reminds me of the wrong I have done and as a matter of fact He takes my sins and throws them into the sea of forgetfulness.

He looks at where we are going versus where we have been with the only reason for us to remember is that we can say that He pulled us out from bondage and set us free.

So let us like Paul said think soberly of ourselves and not more highly than we ought … unless we deceive ourselves.

” Brothers and sisters, if someone is caught in a sin, you who live by the Spirit should restore that person gently. But watch yourselves, or you also may be tempted. Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ. If anyone thinks they are something when they are not, they deceive themselves”.

Galatians 6: 1-3

That was Random…

I just wanted to share “again”  something that I noticed the other day talking my daughter, Michaela.

My husband was taking me to work last week and our babies (not so much babies) were in the car and my daughter said to my oldest son, Elijah .. “Have you lost all of your teeth”  in which he answered after thinking for a minute  “No”.

So, she goes on to ask him … “Well, when did you start losing your teeth?” she yells to me in the front seat … “Mommy, when did Elijah start losing his teeth?”

I told her that Elijah began losing teeth when he was five, I said you don’t remember Micci and she answered and said “No, I was only 2”.

“Ding, Ding”  … that’s when I had a moment.

….. I always tell people what intrigues me is that in a relationship such as a marriage;

you have two separate lives now that you have to mesh together all the while still respecting their life individual calling and purpose.

I hope this is making sense.

It does in my head LOL.

But we are taking each individual life and now making it one.

I take my husbands attributes his gifts and talents .. his ultimate life purpose and not only am I pushing him, not only am I trying to push him to seek out what is it God has placed within him ..  and at the same time he does likewise with me.

Cool thing is, is that both of us can benefit from one another!

In the natural … he is a network engineer. His aspiration is to own his own company doing all that great “techy” stuff.

My aspiration is to open a transition center for women.

Ok, our two individual aspirations .. can become one when I finally open my center and he has his IT company and we come together and do business.

We have intertwined our aspirations.

So, I said all that to say …

That is kind of confirmed everything that I thought before.

Even in my children’s’ lives and the way I viewed them.

I realized that even though they are under the same roof  and share the same parents, they both have their own separate gifts, talents and purposes.

It was just an eye opener for me … to hear that she did not remember when her brother lost his teeth and even though they were under the same roof they were in different seasons and at different points in their life.

I love that  at any given point you can be in a crowd of  people and they are all in different seasons of their life.

Awesome thing is … God is tending to all of them, pruning some, watering some, inspecting fruit on some, and uprooting some.

That right there also reminds me and causes me to respect the seasons of others.

Just because I am in the season of harvest (just as an example) does not mean I pick on, beat up and judge the next who is still in a time of sowing.

We need to be sensitive of those around us and not so quick to “judge” someone.

We are called to be ready in and out of season to correct,  rebuke, and encourage with GREAT PATIENCE AND CAREFUL INSTRUCTION.

So while we do not have to be a “respecter of  persons” we do need to be a respecter of seasons and us what we have gained in past seasons to encourage and help someone make through theirs’.

Happy Blogging.

Random Post …

I am laughing at myself … because as much as I talk and as much as I love to talk … I am learning how to articulate what I feel.

Articualtion is important .

LOL, I also believe when you read the word you get new revelation and God teaches you big words too #comeasachild

and I get so excited when I say them not knowing if it is really a word .. and I look it up and it is.

John 14:26

26 But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.

I dare you to take God at his word today.

Fork in the Road ….

Fork in the Road

I think everyone comes to a point in their life where they have to decide whether or not to believe.

I see it almost as being like a fork in the road …

I don’t care if you have been in this walk for the last 25 years, everyone comes to a point where they have decide if they will continue in this journey in Christ or will I decide to throw away and forget (or at least try) all that God has done and showed me.

I believe that with every decision you bring yourself into a new season … with every revelation you bring yourself into a new “realm” of knowing of God as well as yourself. You have a new understanding of things and how you see them. Even though you may have to adapt … to this new level, you have to adapt to the new revelation, you have to adapt to the new awareness of the spirit of God that is at work in you, you have to adapt to the new you.

You have to adapt to the new level of belief.

I think you come to this “fork in the road” and its like God is trying to say to you … are you ready to go further? Are you ready to go deeper? Are you ready to take your belief and faith to another level?

… so I pray today that you are willing and ready to take your belief to a new place because honestly some people don’t … they get to the fork become disgruntled, disheveled and frustrated and decide to walk away from it all.

But then part of them is still tormented because they still believe and  just in that brief moment of doubt you walked away.

I pray that makes sense  …

but I pray you accept today, accept a new level of belief. I pray that we go forth in this year being fully convinced, convinced that God is real and he reigns, convinced of Gods word that it is alive and very much active, convinced that His word is alive and active in our lives and the lives of those around us.

God Bless.
