Prayers of the Heart …

The prayer of my heart this morning was …. It is my desire to love you more.

It is my desire to love you.

If there is anything that will keep me from you …then I do not want it

If my name being known keeps me from spending time with you …. then I do not want it

If the money, houses and cars make me forget you …. then I do not want it

I posture my heart before you

and on the altar of my heart I lay my

will, my plans, my desires, my thoughts, my fears and insecurities

Send your fire your Lord…

to burn them away

Replace them with your will, with your plans, with your desires

Replace them with your thoughts

Replace my thoughts of myself with the thoughts you have toward me

Keep me in a place of longing for you

Keep a conviction and void until I spend my time with you

until I hear your voice.

For my desire is to hear you, to speak with you.

Speak Lord for your servant is listening.

Psalms 139 ….

I have never read Psalms 139 in its entirety until last night. It was the most beautiful thing I had ever come across.  I had a really rough evening on yesterday, I’m not sure why I was not (and even still) I am not sure what had triggered my attitude LOL but Lord knows …. Literally the Lord knew I had one.

I took it God in prayer and I laid it at the feet of Jesus and even in prayer I begin to ask God that if I never grow into a “gift” if I never grow to the “fullness” He has called me to please do not take away our relationship. I pleaded with God, that no matter where I go in life do not let me forget.

I prayed and I told God do not perfect or cultivate another gift until my relationship is right and pleasing unto Him. Do not give me another word until my relationship is right with Him.

Relationship is most important, over the offices over the gifts and destinies and purposes. Relationship is more important than what God holds in His hand.

The bible tells us that many have called out “Lord, Lord”  and many prophesied in His name and drove out demons and performed miracles but were never known.

I told God, “I want to be known by you”.

So after I had finished, I hopped up and ran to my bible LOL …. I stumbled upon Psalms 139 and I read it and felt so much peace in my heart and spirit.

So, here I am sharing it with you all. I do not do this to boast as I normally do not like sharing things like this but I do this to encourage you and show you that God is concerned about His children and the affairs and going on’s with His children. He is faithful and just to reply and to confirm you in any situation.

I also do this in hopes that this will excite you to seek the Lord and find out how He speaks to you, that in seeking Him you will find out what that good perfect and acceptable will is for your life and those around you.

Know that God is concerned and He does care for you.

Psalm 139

For the director of music. Of David. A psalm.

You have searched me, Lord,
    and you know me.
You know when I sit and when I rise;
you perceive my thoughts from afar.
You discern my going out and my lying down;
you are familiar with all my ways.
Before a word is on my tongue
    you, Lord, know it completely.
You hem me in behind and before,
and you lay your hand upon me.
Such knowledge is too wonderful for me,
too lofty for me to attain.

Where can I go from your Spirit?
Where can I flee from your presence?
If I go up to the heavens, you are there;
if I make my bed in the depths, you are there.
If I rise on the wings of the dawn,
if I settle on the far side of the sea,
10 even there your hand will guide me,
your right hand will hold me fast.
11 If I say, “Surely the darkness will hide me
and the light become night around me,”
12 even the darkness will not be dark to you;
the night will shine like the day,
for darkness is as light to you.

13 For you created my inmost being;
you knit me together in my mother’s womb.
14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
    your works are wonderful,
    I know that full well.
15 My frame was not hidden from you
when I was made in the secret place,
when I was woven together in the depths of the earth.
16 Your eyes saw my unformed body;
all the days ordained for me were written in your book
before one of them came to be.
17 How precious to me are your thoughts,[a] God!
How vast is the sum of them!
18 Were I to count them,
they would outnumber the grains of sand—
when I awake, I am still with you.

19 If only you, God, would slay the wicked!
Away from me, you who are bloodthirsty!
20 They speak of you with evil intent;
    your adversaries misuse your name.
21 Do I not hate those who hate you, Lord,
and abhor those who are in rebellion against you?
22 I have nothing but hatred for them;
    I count them my enemies.
23 Search me, God, and know my heart;
test me and know my anxious thoughts.
24 See if there is any offensive way in me,
and lead me in the way everlasting.

A Vision: The Praying Man

God came to me a few nights ago and showed me a vision of a man kneeling in sand and praying. As the man prayed beneath his legs a concrete foundation was formed and as he continued to kneel the concrete foundation began to extend into the ground and as the foundation went into the depths of the sand the man also began to rise up (this occurred simultaneously) as the cement foundation went down into the sand it also lifted the praying man into the air as this occurred the man as well turned into cement thus becoming a statue.

God revealed that in this season as we turn to seek Him, He will in turn establish and raise us up as a beacon among the people.

He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him and He is a public rewarder of those who seek Him in secret.

Sharing is Caring Part III

I just wanted to share something I have been pondeing on.

It is important that we stay sober and vigilant in everything that we do.

2 Peter 5:8 tells us

“Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.”

Our adversary, the devil, is sneaky, he is cunning and he is a liar and seeking to do nothing but destroy.

I know lately God has been showing me the little things that I do or say, the little things that I choose to look over.

He has been showing me how the one thing I tend to overlook can become a foothold  for the enemy to come right on in.

God has been showing me how the little things I say can create a whirl-wind of problems.

Sometimes we as people focus on the “BIG” things … all the while looking over the small things because

“Hey what can something that small really do?”

Well, the word says

“Do not despise small beginnings”.

and it tells us that in James 3

“big ships are steered by small rudders”

Although those scriptures are used in a different context I just want to give to the picture of how we should not over look small things.

My Apostle and Prophetess always say to “pay attention to the details!”

The Song of Solomon says

“Take us the foxes, the little foxes, that spoil the vines: for our vines have tender grapes.”

I ask God all the time show me those little things that can hinder me from hearing you, those little things that grieve you!

It reminds me of when I am cleaning and I continue to move the obvious things that are out-of-place, once they have been put back in their proper place I am now stuck with a lot of little things and my house is still a mess!

So, instead of taking the time to sort through the small things, I throw them in another pile and once I am done with I did not effectively sort through and remove the junk I just made it into some thing larger.

What you do not confront now, will confront you later.

So, I can skip around my junk all day and for the next few weeks but a day is going to come when I am going to have to deal with it and by then more than likely it is larger than before.

Pray and ask God to show you those “small” things that can give place to the enemy.

We cannot run around here like those who have no hope do! We cannot run around saying what ever we feel in that instant, we cannot be controlled by our shaky little emotions.

But we are to go forth in confidence, and knowing that our God is great and if we call on Him He will surely deliver us from our troubles.

The word says to pray about EVERYTHING.

We have to come to a point in our walk in relationship with Christ that we say “Ok, that is enough of that. Time to put this behind me”

I believe for each level in Christ that we climb to we come to those pivotal moments where we either accept and mature or we don’t.

I pray that you be quick to respond and correct the situation through help and guidance of the Holy  Spirit !

We serve a good God who is patient and who said that the perfect work He has begun in us He will complete.

DISCERNING SPIRITUAL CLIMATES AND BATTLING JEZEBEL’S WITCHCRAFT

by: Jennifer Leclaire

Exhaustion; that’s the best word to describe how I’ve felt for the past three weeks. And there is no natural reason for it. I’ve been sleeping plenty. Drinking lots of water. Getting plenty of exercise. (Enjoying more than my quota of Starbucks!)

Yet the morning I penned this article—despite sleeping nine hours the night before—I went back to sleep for two hours after taking my daughter to school. And when I woke up, I was still exhausted—and disgusted.

I was starting to wonder what was wrong with me. And then I got a friendly reminder revelation from the Holy Spirit: It’s witchcraft. Wicked witchcraft. How could I forget? It caught me off guard. Now I’m warning you.

Discerning Spiritual Climates
I don’t know where you live, but I live in South Florida where the spiritual climate often seems as hard as bronze. (Bronze heavens are part of the curse of the law, according to Deut. 28:23). South Florida is sometimes called the “evangelist’s graveyard.” The spiritual climate is intense.

Sometimes, it seems like our prayers hit a bronze ceiling and fall back down to the earth again. Of course, we know that’s not true because God hears the prayers of the righteous (Prov. 15:8). But prayer often feels like a heated battle when you are in a tight spiritual climate with strongholds like witchcraft and Jezebel. Sometimes you don’t even feel like praying.

The Bible talks about rebellion as the sin of witchcraft (1 Sam. 15:23). Well, South Florida is home to a cornucopia of cultural rebellion through homosexuality, an active drug scene, naughty nightclubs and the like. The Bible talks about Jezebel and her witchcrafts (2 Kings 9:22). Well, South Florida is home to a diverse population that has brought Santeria from Cuba, Voodoo from Haiti and Rastafari—and God knows what other devils—from the Caribbean islands. You might say the principalities and powers here are as eclectic as the population.

But there’s another element that contributes to the witchcraft in my region and maybe in yours too, especially during this time of year: Mary worship. My experience living here over the past decade tells me that Mary worship empowers the Jezebel spirit. Remember, I’d been exhausted for about the past three weeks. There was no natural reason for it. But there was a supernatural reason for it. It’s no coincidence that Lent started on Feb. 22—about three weeks ago.

Mary Worship and Jezebel
See, during Lent some people have a tendency to exalt Mary, the mother of Jesus. But we know that’s not God’s will. God has highly exalted Jesus and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee must bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that He is Lord, to the glory of the Father (Phil 2:9-11).

Where Mary is exalted, I believe it empowers the spirit of Jezebel and her witchcrafts. Some people in some religions refer to Mary as the “Queen of Heaven.” But Ashtoreth, the chief pagan goddess of war and sex mentioned in the Old Testament, is also known as the Queen of Heaven. And it’s the Ashtoreth spirit that’s behind Jezebel. The Lord speaks of the queen of heaven in Jeremiah 7, noting that the people of Judah were giving offerings to other gods and provoking Him to anger. The Old Testament Jezebel’s father, Ethbal, was the high priest of the goddess Ashtoreth, the queen of heaven. Can you connect the dots?

During Lent—at least in South Florida—the spirit of witchcraft gets so thick it seems like you have to cut through it with a power saw. Spiritual witchcraft (I’m not talking about practitioners of Wicca, so you can refrain from the séances and curses against me) is a spiritual force that causes you to feel like quitting and giving up. From my experience, it can make you tired in your body. The imaginations hitting your mind become more intense. And infirmities can manifest.

Indeed, witchcraft can cause you to grow weary in well-doing and even faint if you don’t know what you are dealing with—and how to battle it. So how do you battle it? You battle witchcraft like you battle every other principality, power, ruler of the darkness of this age, or spiritual host of wickedness (Eph. 6:12).

Battling Jezebel’s Witchcrafts
Always remember, we aren’t wrestling against flesh and blood, yet we do need to put on our whole armor and engage in the battle. Passivity isn’t going to deliver you from Jezebel’s witchcraft.

“For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down imaginations and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ,  and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled” (2 Cor. 10:3-6).

When it comes to witchcraft, we have to withstand it. The Amplified Bible says to “be firm in faith [against his onset—rooted, established, strong, immovable, and determined]” (1 Peter 5:9). It’s easy enough to give in to witchcraft, especially if you don’t know what is attacking you. So again, when you feel like giving up, when you feel tired for no reason, when you have strong confusion, when you are fighting an intense battle in your mind, and when infirmities are manifesting, it could be witchcraft. Resist it at its onset. Cast it off. Submit yourself to God. Resist the devil [stand firm against him], and he will flee from you (James 4:7 AMP).

Again, submit yourself to the Lordship of Christ. Exalt His name. Thank Him for His blood. Rejoice in the Lord. This morning, before I even recognized I was covered with witchcraft I turned on some music and began to worship God. Praise and worship carry breakthrough. That’s often all it takes to change the spiritual climate in your home. And that’s where we should start because He is worthy of our adoration.

If worship doesn’t break the witchcraft, take authority over it in the name above all names. Witchcraft has to bow at the name of Jesus. But make sure you don’t have any common ground with the enemy. Repent for any rebellion in your heart and surrender your will anew to God. Remember, we are more than conquerors in Christ and no weapon formed against us can prosper—not even witchcraft. Our job is to be spiritually discerning enough to catch the devil at his onset, resist him, rebuke him and praise God for the victory. Amen.

Daily Inspiration …

A Daily Inspiration sent to me …. I pray it encourages you as it did me!

May The Lord of Peace Give You Peace

“Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times in all
ways.”  2 Thessalonians 3:16

Daily Express: The Bible talks about the peace that passes understanding.  This is a God-given peace
in the midst of difficulty.  It is a spirituality that gives you a depth of bliss
in the middle of your problem.

Your life is not defined by outer circumstances.  Your life is defined by what you feel inside
of yourself every moment.  When you are connected with God fully in your awareness you feel
burdens lifted from you, and you feel a profound peace.  You can feel profound peace
from God even in the presence of challenges.

This is a week to manifest the full peace of God in our minds and in our
hearts.

Life so filled with joy, song, and laughter, but there are still hearts
that are burdened, and heavy today.  Every day, I talk with people by
who are hurting. Some people face challenges that are so difficult,
like those affected by major storm Sandy on the east coast of America.

Some people are facing life-threatening health challenges.
Many are dealing with the effects of trying to make ends meet after losing employment.
In the prayer ministry of Positive Christianity, we have many prayer requests
from those needing comfort and strength.

God can bring comfort, and peace even in situations where it seems like it
would be impossible to be found.  God can bring strength to allow the praying person
to stand up to any difficulty.

God can provide guidance to maneuver us through a confusing maze, to the desired
answered prayer.

As we pray for peace and uplifting, we remember these words: “Now may our
Lord Jesus Christ Himself, and God our father… comfort your hearts and
ESTABLISH them in every good work and word.”

What does it mean to be established in God’s good?  It means the same
thing as when we say that a certain person is established in the
community, or a business is established, and viewed with respect.

When you are established in God, you are established in God’s heart, which
is peaceful at all times and in all circumstances.  You are established in
health that is not temporal, but permanent.  You are established in joy not
because of what is happening outside of you, but because of what is
happening inside of you.  In your work life, you are established in good lasting
work.  God uses the words of your mouth, establishing in you, a vocabulary
and a tone of voice that will minister to others, and bring peace to them.

Even as we in Positive Christianity pray for our friends and send them
encouraging, constructive words to affirm in prayer, we also behold them
filling their time and their world, with “good works.”  These good works
can consist of any way they may find to enter into life in a more peaceful way.

If you know of a need of comfort and strength in another, the prayer of
your love-filled heart can unfold them and help them invest their awareness
in the present prayer moment and find in it the lasting blessing of God’s peace.

POSITIVE DAILY PRAYER:

Dear God, I pray today that I am established in your peace.  I pray that I
am established in the harmony and the melody of the universe.  I pray that
I am established in smiles and laughter and true soul enjoyment.  I pray
that I am established in comfort and in strength.

I pray that my mind is established in Your peace.  I am praying that my
employment is established in God’s good works.  I pray that the words of
my mouth are established in God’s word.  I pray that I am established in
following and believing God’s word about my life and about my dear one’s
lives.

God, in areas that I may not even be aware of, I ask You to bring your
establishment of perfect peace, balance, and order into my life.  And dear God,
establish my life in Your love, so I may express it to all.

In Jesus Christ’s name…Amen

POSITIVE DAILY AFFIRMATION: The healing power of God restores me.
My mind and body are peaceful and whole.

POSITIVE DAILY QUOTE: “You must be the change you hope to see in the world.”
Mahatma Gandhi

God bless you!!
