The Righteousness of God

God made him who had no sin to be sin[a] for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

2 Corinthians 5:21

Declare over yourself this day

“I am the righteousness of God through Christ Jesus”

I believe we can all agree that Apostle Paul said it best “ I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do”.  Later in the passage he says “Although I want to do good, evil is right there with me”.

We all have the best intentions in mind but often times we find ourselves falling short of the very thing we sent up to God in prayer. We find ourselves forgetting what we told God we would not do in prayer. We often find ourselves calling out to Jesus for help.

What then happens is we find ourselves stepping back into the corner, counting ourselves unworthy of the call on our lives and unworthy to dwell in the presence of a Holy God.

We have deemed ourselves worthless.

But God wants you to know today ….. that YOU ARE the righteousness of God through Christ Jesus. There is no sin to great or too big that could separate you from the love of Christ. He who had no sin became sin and through His death and resurrection has set us free and through His abundant love for us …. He has made us free. There is NO condemnation for those who are in Christ.

“And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more” … John 8:11

Help My Unbelief ..

You know,  I was reading a post the other day that stated that God creates a whole bunch of narcissists and He does this by telling us that He has a plan for us and that no matter what …. his plan will go forth and no matter what happens it doesn’t really matter because God is in control.

Understand, I am not bashing this woman because of her view, stance, opinion or belief … whatever you want to call it. I honestly am currently following her …. call me crazy.

I don’t know what lead me to follow her but I am … I am strong enough in my faith and belief to not be hysterical as some on her page .. strong enough to know I do not need to enter into a fit of rage and declare war on all atheist’s … I know my God and while I am His ambassador, I also know His word speaks for itself. It is alive and active, sharper than any double-edged sword dividing soul and spirit, joint and marrow … judging the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.

I also strongly believe love covers a multitude … I don’t believe this child of God is as unbelieving as she deems herself to be …

I honestly don’t believe a lot of unbelievers  are as unbelieving as they say … some just deal with strong doubt …

they see, hear and read things they cannot wrap their minds around only to reduce it to a fable and story of inspiration and they internalize things that God did not make happen, unanswered prayers …. a deceased love one …

and they ask God “why have you forsaken me”

but they never understand He never did and when they go through moments when they don’t feel Him they figure He is not real …

but I beg to differ …

Even the strongest believer has moments when God seems afar off .. and it is often at the hardest times and periods in your life when He seems the furthest but we have to know that He is near .. that He dwells within .. that His word has been removed from the tablets and etched on our heart and dwells within us and that we have been given His very spirit and we can call those things that are not as though they were.

But unfortunately some did not have someone around to tell them and some came to that point I mentioned yesterday and outside things seemed more present than God at the moment.

… and that’s ok …

We serve a great God a loving merciful God and I pray all those who trying to find that balance between belief and unbelief find it.

That guy in the bible (that I cannot fully remember the story) where his son was dealing with a tormenting spirit and was causing him (the son) to hurt himself .. the father asked Jesus …

“Help, my unbelief”

I pray God helps all of our unbelief. I think it is safe to say that while we are fully convinced we do have those brief moments of unbelief …

I pray He empowers us all.

**So, this is not what I was blogging about and where this post was supposed to go, but ok**

… many are the plans in a mans heart but only the purpose of Lord prevails (paraphrased) … LOL

Daily Inspiration …

A Daily Inspiration sent to me …. I pray it encourages you as it did me!

God Bless

May The Lord of Peace Give You Peace

“Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times in all
ways.”  2 Thessalonians 3:16

Daily Express: The Bible talks about the peace that passes understanding.  This is a God-given peace
in the midst of difficulty.  It is a spirituality that gives you a depth of bliss
in the middle of your problem.

Your life is not defined by outer circumstances.  Your life is defined by what you feel inside
of yourself every moment.  When you are connected with God fully in your awareness you feel
burdens lifted from you, and you feel a profound peace.  You can feel profound peace
from God even in the presence of challenges.

This is a week to manifest the full peace of God in our minds and in our
hearts.

Life so filled with joy, song, and laughter, but there are still hearts
that are burdened, and heavy today.  Every day, I talk with people by
who are hurting. Some people face challenges that are so difficult,
like those affected by major storm Sandy on the east coast of America.

Some people are facing life-threatening health challenges.
Many are dealing with the effects of trying to make ends meet after losing employment.
In the prayer ministry of Positive Christianity, we have many prayer requests
from those needing comfort and strength.

God can bring comfort, and peace even in situations where it seems like it
would be impossible to be found.  God can bring strength to allow the praying person
to stand up to any difficulty.

God can provide guidance to maneuver us through a confusing maze, to the desired
answered prayer.

As we pray for peace and uplifting, we remember these words: “Now may our
Lord Jesus Christ Himself, and God our father… comfort your hearts and
ESTABLISH them in every good work and word.”

What does it mean to be established in God’s good?  It means the same
thing as when we say that a certain person is established in the
community, or a business is established, and viewed with respect.

When you are established in God, you are established in God’s heart, which
is peaceful at all times and in all circumstances.  You are established in
health that is not temporal, but permanent.  You are established in joy not
because of what is happening outside of you, but because of what is
happening inside of you.  In your work life, you are established in good lasting
work.  God uses the words of your mouth, establishing in you, a vocabulary
and a tone of voice that will minister to others, and bring peace to them.

Even as we in Positive Christianity pray for our friends and send them
encouraging, constructive words to affirm in prayer, we also behold them
filling their time and their world, with “good works.”  These good works
can consist of any way they may find to enter into life in a more peaceful way.

If you know of a need of comfort and strength in another, the prayer of
your love-filled heart can unfold them and help them invest their awareness
in the present prayer moment and find in it the lasting blessing of God’s peace.

POSITIVE DAILY PRAYER:

Dear God, I pray today that I am established in your peace.  I pray that I
am established in the harmony and the melody of the universe.  I pray that
I am established in smiles and laughter and true soul enjoyment.  I pray
that I am established in comfort and in strength.

I pray that my mind is established in Your peace.  I am praying that my
employment is established in God’s good works.  I pray that the words of
my mouth are established in God’s word.  I pray that I am established in
following and believing God’s word about my life and about my dear one’s
lives.

God, in areas that I may not even be aware of, I ask You to bring your
establishment of perfect peace, balance, and order into my life.  And dear God,
establish my life in Your love, so I may express it to all.

In Jesus Christ’s name…Amen

POSITIVE DAILY AFFIRMATION: The healing power of God restores me.
My mind and body are peaceful and whole.

POSITIVE DAILY QUOTE: “You must be the change you hope to see in the world.”

God bless you!!

Another Daily Insipiration …

Another daily inspiration sent to me today!

Enjoy!

Triumphant Life

“Shout triumphantly to the Lord, all the Earth. Serve the Lord with gladness; come before God with joyful songs.” Psalm 100:1,2

Daily Express:

Make a commitment with God to get out of your shell others need you, and want, what you have to offer.

 Complete Message:

C. S. Lewis once said, “The great thing is to be found at one’s post as a child of God, living each day as if it were our last, but planning as though our world might last  1000 years.”

Some of the greatest people that I have ever known used to be shrinking violets. Overlooked by others, and invisible, they kept to themselves, and wondered why others didn’t treat them better. They had overcome these tendencies and they did.

These people had to force themselves to get out of their shell. This is not an easy thing to do ,removing one’s self from their comfort zone. But their comfort zone can often be a very lonely, isolated place.

People need us, people want to like us but we have to be a friend first – before we can expect friends.

Are you living a life triumphant that God has promised can be yours?

Or are you a spiritual shrinking violet?

As you ponder that question, consider this: God does not intend for you to live a life that is merely mediocre.

And God doesn’t want you to hide the light God has placed within you.

God wants you to “Let your light so shine before humans, that they may see your good works and glorify your God in heaven.” Matthew 5:16

In short, God wants you to live a triumphant life so that others might know what it means to be a child of God.

Self-isolation is a formed habit, just as putting oneself “out there” is also a formed habit.

The better life is found in the latter. If you want success in this world it is mostly found in the latter.

People must discover you, they have to find you, to know that you are there.

I have had to overcome my shyness. People think that I’m a natural extrovert, but that is not true, it has been something that I have worked hard on with God’s daily help. If I can do it, anyone can do it.

Daily life should be a triumphant celebration. Daily life should be an exercise of smiling and laughing with others in pure spiritual joy. Daily life should be a continual sharing with others. Daily life should reflect your thanksgiving and praise continually.

Join the celebration today. Live in a way that you, and others, can see God’s light coming through you, so that they too may join the celebration.

POSITIVE DAILY PRAYER:

Dear God, I come to You today with a different type of prayer.

Please help me to get out of my shell.

Help me to reflect to others kindness, a loving nature, and accessibility.

Help me to no longer place invisible blocks of receptivity around me.

I pray that others can always reach my friendliness.

I pray for new friends.

I am willing to become a friend first.

I am willing to reach out.

With Your help I no longer place invisible barricades and barriers around myself.

I pray for courage, and I pray for the continual will, on a daily basis, to become a people person.

I pray that I’m touchable, reachable, communicative, and friendly – always.

In Jesus Christ’s name Amen

POSITIVE DAILY AFFIRMATION: I’m touchable, reachable, communicative, and friendly.

POSITIVE DAILY QUOTE: “Whatever the need, whatever the goal, turn within in prayer to the power of God.”   Christopher Ian Chenoweth

Oh, Before I go …

Well, the day in the office is just about over for me. I am preparing myself for another weekend. I guess?

Just real quick … choose your friends wisely. Watch their habits and study their character. If they do shady things to other people who they claim to be their friend … then more than likely they do it to you.

And if for some odd reason they are really honest to you and not the other then .. they need to stop lying to that other person and they need to let them go LMBO.

Alright, those are my words of wisdom for the evening. I pray that you all have a wonderful, safe and blessed weekend.

Pray hard, worship hard, fight hard and love harder for love covers a multitude of sins.

And real quick I want to say Welcome to all of my New Followers! I am glad you are “here” with me … please feel free to comment and I am always up for good meaningful conversation.

If you can’t take anything edifying, if you cannot learn from it, if it leaves you drained and empty and feeling vexed and bothered then leave it exactly where it is.

Oh and don’t take advice from lazy people.

Have a Blessed Weekend …

Long Time No Read ….

Hi Everyone.

I first have to say it feels good to be back on my blog! This has been a rather eventful two weeks. My family, on both my side and my husband’s side, went through and experienced the deaths of our grandparents.

I believe that through the grace and mercies of God that we are doing well and I have overcome. Although we naturally miss their presence we do not mourn as those who have no hope in Jesus Christ.

We have been given a sense peace that surpasses all of our understanding. God has truly answered my prayers because a few weeks ago when everything took place I honestly did know how I was going to make it through the next week following our grandparents deaths.

But here I am LOL.

Still alive and kicking and on the other side.

God most definitely is faithful.

So, I pray that everyone has had a wonderful weekend and holiday and I pray that your week as well be blessed.

Fight and Love a little harder today. Understand that the picture is always bigger than what we initially see.

Keep your hope and your faith in Christ Jesus. Don’t let anyone pull you out from the grace and mercies of God.

If you want something real, something durable, something that will last seek God  because only what is done through Christ will last.

Love you Guys
