Article: How Jezebel’s False Doctrine Distorts God’s Grace and Truth

I came across another wonderful article today!

This was a great read and say what you want LOL I thoroughly enjoyed it.

There is just something about it that makes me leap in my spirit and gets me excited and ready to combat, tear down and over throw the enemy.

There is something about setting God’s people free seeing them healed, set free and delivered from the grips of the enemy.

I pray that God uses me as His weapon of choice to destroy the kingdom of darkness and release all of its captives… but only on the condition that they want to go.

What shocks me every time is that people refuse to believe that the weapons of our warfare are not carnal. They refuse to believe that we are in a spiritual battle and not everything is as it may seem.

There are way too many people within the body who are deceived and who are being deceived and there are people who are content with being deceived because it is easier to live a lie than to confront the lie and fight to live for the truth.

We need to understand that we are most definitely in the last days.

We cannot afford to take things lightly when the end is near Jesus is coming soon and people still have no reverence and no concern of that which is holy.

Everyone is always shouting …

“YOLO!”

… and you know what you’re right..

….You do Only Live Once…

Ephesians 5 tells us:

“8 For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light (for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth) 10 and find out what pleases the Lord. 11 Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them. 12 It is shameful even to mention what the disobedient do in secret. 13 But everything exposed by the light becomes visible—and everything that is illuminated becomes a light. 14 This is why it is said:

“Wake up, sleeper,
    rise from the dead,
and Christ will shine on you.”

15 Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, 16 making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. 17 Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is.”

Jesus!

I pray that we all wake up and come to a full understanding and realization of who Christ is and who we are and most importantly who we are in Him.

I am not saying this as though I have arrived and I have all the answers.

I don’t know it all but I serve a God who does and like Apostle Paul said

“I press”

So like my Prophetess says

“We need to grow up”

I pray that all believers begin to crave like never before God’s spiritual milk so that by it we may grow up in our salvation.

I pray that our eyes be opened and that we come into a full understanding of God’s reality.

I pray that we sharpened and quickened in our spirit man, let us no longer be dulled and desensitized by things of our flesh and the things of this world.

In Jesus Name.

So, I have already said enough!

Enjoy and Happy Blogging.

How Jezebel’s False Doctrine Distorts God’s Grace and Truth

Jesus clearly warned His church against Jezebel’s false doctrines, but this ancient evil has succeeded in hiding behind the mask of control and manipulation while few recognize its deeper agenda. Indeed, most do not see Jezebel as the propagator of false doctrines that give the saints a license to sin.

The Greek word for Jezebel in Rev. 2:20 is actually a synonym for false teacher. Jezebel is teaching false doctrines. I believe one of the false doctrines Jezebel is pushing is a distorted message of God’s grace.

Here’s how it works: Jezebel first seduces you into immorality and idolatry—or drunkenness or homosexuality—by telling you it’s OK. After you’ve fallen into the trap, Jezebel’s doctrine eases your conscience by telling you your past, present and future sins are already forgiven—that there’s no need to repent. In fact, Jezebel would not repent (Rev. 2:21)—and neither do those who are seduced by this spirit’s false doctrine. This is a dangerous, even damnable error.

Jezebel Would Not Repent

Despite its good works, love, service, faith and patience, Jesus had a few things against the church at Thyatira because its leadership allowed a false prophetess named Jezebel to teach and seduce His servants to commit sexual immorality and idolatry (Rev. 2:20). Jesus said:

“And I gave her time to repent of her sexual immorality, and she did not repent. Indeed I will cast her into a sickbed, and those who commit adultery with her into great tribulation, unless they repent of their deeds. I will kill her children with death, and all the churches shall know that I am He who searches the minds and hearts. And I will give to each one of you according to your works” (vv. 21-23).

Jesus went on to give an encouraging word to the rest in Thyatira: “As many as do not have this doctrine, who have not known the depths of Satan, as they say, I will put on you no other burden” (v. 24). That confirms that Jezebel was guilty of teaching false doctrines. But for those who did not embrace Jezebel’s false doctrine, Jesus encouraged them, “Hold fast what you have till I come” (v. 25). In other words, don’t give into this false doctrine—don’t be deceived.

A New Season …

So, I am feeling “some type of way” this evening.

I told my husband and he asked if I was sad, if I was hungry .. perhaps even thirsty. God Bless him.

But it is almost a sadness, honestly.

In the wake of the devastation of losing the precious lives of teachers and students in Newton, Connecticut … I as well found out a high school classmate committed suicide this past weekend.

But it makes me aware of how important it is for us as believers to be in place. The harvest is plenty but the laborers are few and there is a harvest out there waiting. Romans 8:20 says “the creature groans in anticipation for the sons of glory to be revealed.”

I believe that time is upon us when the son’s of glory is to be revealed Isaiah 60 says

“Arise and shine for your light has come  and the glory of the Lord rises upon you. See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the people but the Lord rises upon you and His glory appears over you. Nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your dawn.”

I believe a darkness is over the earth and thick darkness is over the people and has blinded them from seeing any hope .. has blinded them from seeing any glimpse of light.

They have been blinded in the grips of despair, blinded by fear, blinded by loneliness, blinded by anxieties, blinded by depression, blinded by doubts of tomorrow. Some are blinded by the grips of death, blinded by grief, blinded by guilt, blinded by shame .. and held and subjected to its bondage.

They walk around in bondage, they roam to and fro looking for one to set them free. Looking for one to lend them a hand and not just simply place them at the gate called “Beautiful” but they are looking for one to tell them to get up and walk and be free.

They are looking for us to set them free from the chains and shackles that hold them in place and in subjection to its yet demanding laws.

We need to understand that we are the church .. not the building .. the building cannot declare the word of the true and living word. The call and demand was not placed on the building but within you and me.

It is time for us to go .. the great commission … to go forth making disciples of all men baptizing them in the name of Father, of the Son and of the Holy Ghost.

We have already been equipped and anointed … we have already been given the authority.

It is time for the Son’s of Glory to be revealed.

In this next season it will be a dangerous thing for us not to be prophetic and not in the sense of carrying a title of a prophet … but it will be a dangerous thing for us not to recognize the voice and unctions of God .. and then to be able to carry out the instruction.

It will be a dangerous thing not to have a relationship … and I am saying this to those who are saved,  who have become new creatures yet have not truly tried to pursue a closer relationship with our creator. For those who are satisfied with Him being savior and not Lord.

He said He’s rather us be hot or cold .. .because then He knows exactly how to deal with us and supply us with the grace we need.

I do not know how to handle a person that I do not know whether or not your are for me or against me.

If I know you like me I can handle you accordingly … if I know you hate me … I can handle you accordingly but if I do not know where you stand then I do not know how to handle you.

We all know “wishy-washy” people we do not know where they stand with us from day to day.

Like wise with our God.

In this season … decide whether you will be hot or cold.

The harvest is plenty and it will be time for the laborers to go out in the field. We need to make sure our hands are planted firmly to the plow, for anyone who looks back is not fit.

The glory is coming and it will be upon His son’s and when the glory rises it will shine on those who are ready and in place.

I pray that you all be the light in the darkness and that  we are all ready when His glory rises. I pray that we all carry a “Here I am Lord” in our spirit and in our hearts .. at all times. I pray we know that the present sufferings are not worth comparing with glory that will be revealed. I pray that in this season our ears and eyes are opened .. so that we can hear the Lord is saying to His church. I pray that we receive it without hesitation and without hardness of heart. “when you hear my voice harden not your heart”.

I pray for a deeper sense of urgency, a deeper relationship, a deeper thirst and hunger for the things of God, a deep thirst for righteousness. I pray that son’s of glory be revealed quickly. That these people will know there is still hope even in the midst of the dark and dense fog of despair.

I pray for a weight to fall on the saints of God that we pray without ceasing .. that we will watch as well as pray. That we do not be caught off guard by the return of our Lord and Savior, by the return of our King for His people .. because He comes quickly.

Let us not get caught up in the things we can see. … for the weapons of our warfare are not carnal.

Revelation 3:15-17

New International Version (NIV)

15 I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other!16 So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth.

Romans 8:18-24

New International Version (NIV)

Present Suffering and Future Glory

18 I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us. 19 For the creation waits in eager expectation for the children of God to be revealed. 20 For the creation was subjected to frustration, not by its own choice, but by the will of the one who subjected it, in hope 21 that[a] the creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought into the freedom and glory of the children of God.

22 We know that the whole creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time. 23 Not only so, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for our adoption to sonship, the redemption of our bodies. 24 For in this hope we were saved. But hope that is seen is no hope at all. Who hopes for what they already have?

Isaiah 60

New International Version (NIV)

The Glory of Zion

60 “Arise, shine, for your light has come,
and the glory of the Lord rises upon you.
See, darkness covers the earth
and thick darkness is over the peoples,
but the Lord rises upon you
and his glory appears over you.
Nations will come to your light,
and kings to the brightness of your dawn.

Matthew 9:35-38

New International Version (NIV)

The Workers Are Few

35 Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom and healing every disease and sickness. 36 When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd.37 Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. 38 Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.”

Luke 9:62

New International Version (NIV)

62 Jesus replied, “No one who puts a hand to the plow and looks back is fit for service in the kingdom of God.”

2 Corinthians 10:1-6

New International Version (NIV)

Paul’s Defense of His Ministry

10 By the humility and gentleness of Christ, I appeal to you—I, Paul, who am “timid” when face to face with you, but “bold” toward you when away! I beg you that when I come I may not have to be as bold as I expect to be toward some people who think that we live by the standards of this world. For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. And we will be ready to punish every act of disobedience, once your obedience is complete.

Long Time No Read ….

Hi Everyone.

I first have to say it feels good to be back on my blog! This has been a rather eventful two weeks. My family, on both my side and my husband’s side, went through and experienced the deaths of our grandparents.

I believe that through the grace and mercies of God that we are doing well and I have overcome. Although we naturally miss their presence we do not mourn as those who have no hope in Jesus Christ.

We have been given a sense peace that surpasses all of our understanding. God has truly answered my prayers because a few weeks ago when everything took place I honestly did know how I was going to make it through the next week following our grandparents deaths.

But here I am LOL.

Still alive and kicking and on the other side.

God most definitely is faithful.

So, I pray that everyone has had a wonderful weekend and holiday and I pray that your week as well be blessed.

Fight and Love a little harder today. Understand that the picture is always bigger than what we initially see.

Keep your hope and your faith in Christ Jesus. Don’t let anyone pull you out from the grace and mercies of God.

If you want something real, something durable, something that will last seek God  because only what is done through Christ will last.

Love you Guys

and

Happy Blogging

Happy Resurrection Day!

Happy Resurrection Day!!

I am happy today because this is the one day that everyone celebrated the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. This is the one day that people who normally do not go to church on a regular basis, find themselves in attendance.

I am happy as on my Facebook page I am reading as some of my friends have now accepted Christ as their Lord and Savior.

I am just plain happy and I rejoice in the fact that when He went down He took all my sins, all my shame and all my insecurities, fears and doubts, hurts and pain with him.

And when He rose – I rose with Him.

So once again I just wanted to say Happy Resurrection Day ….

Let us celebrate His resurrection daily not just for one day out of the year but lets celebrate his life everyday.

Romans 6

Dead to Sin, Alive in Christ

1 What shall we say, then? Shall we go on sinning so that grace may increase? 2 By no means! We are those who have died to sin; how can we live in it any longer? 3 Or don’t you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? 4We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.

5 For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we will certainly also be united with him in a resurrection like his. 6 For we know that our old self was crucified with him so that the body ruled by sin might be done away with,[a] that we should no longer be slaves to sin— 7because anyone who has died has been set free from sin.

8 Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him. 9 For we know that since Christ was raised from the dead, he cannot die again; death no longer has mastery over him. 10The death he died, he died to sin once for all; but the life he lives, he lives to God.

11 In the same way, count yourselves dead to sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus. 12 Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey its evil desires. 13 Do not offer any part of yourself to sin as an instrument of wickedness, but rather offer yourselves to God as those who have been brought from death to life; and offer every part of yourself to him as an instrument of righteousness. 14 For sin shall no longer be your master, because you are not under the law, but under grace.

Silver Lining ……

Omg …. Hi everyone! It has been a while since I have posted on my blog. I have been super busy these past few weeks … so when I have a chance for some down time …. I really have “down time”.

Which consists of hours of dosing and rolling from side to side on the sofa … which then moves on to the floor (until I realize me and the floor aren’t as compatible as we used to be) moving on from there to then sleeping for a few more hours in my bed. Until, I realize I have a husband and three kids that I totally forgot about!

Anywho, I am posting in regards to some things that have recently been unfolding in U.S news. I am not big on all the events taking place in our country or the world and I am not big on politics or anything of the sort. But one story in particular has gripped me.

Trayvon Martin.

While it is a sensitive case … I do not want to pull any race cards or offend anyone by no means am I racist or in favor of one race over another. But I do believe that each culture and race, creed, nationality etc should be enlightened and know about where they have come from.

Today, I finally mustered up the strength to listen to 911 calls with the young man screaming in the background. It burns my heart to hear that .. and to think that his mother and father had to listen to that and will more than likely have to re-live that and probably still does hear it quiet often.

It is saddening to me that this man is still free and that people are actually trying to …. defend … this man (Zimmerman).

Then to say that it was him crying out for help in that recording is disgusting to me. I could not imagine listen to my childs plead for help .. because someone is trying to take his life and then to have the one who took his life say it was him screaming. I find it disrespectful and disgusting that one would do that.

Then to supposedly chase him say that you were acting in self-defense and then hear this young man screaming for help and you did not stop wrestling him?

I tried to distance myself from this story … because I do not like to be so emotionally gripped by something that could possibly turn out so unfair. I hate injustice …

But honestly, I did try looking at this from both sides I tried to remain unbiased but it is hard.

We had Joe Morrissey come to our church community center for I guess a rally for Trayvon Martin … and he said something that made me think and it kind of stuck with me ….

“In cases like this we have to find a silver lining”

Honestly, it did not take long for me to find that silver lining and I know it has been brought up a million times before but I can see some good coming out of this case. In regards to that stand your ground law. Is there a possibility this case has and will shine some light on the flaws within this law?

I went on to MSNBC and watched another video that had about a man in Texas who was locked up for supposedly raping a college student some time back and she picked him out of a line up. Come to find out (long story short) the man who did it wasn’t even in the line up and he confessed years later. Unfortunately, the man who as wrongfully arrested and sentenced died while in prison BUT his name was cleared and set into place new regulations for doing line ups … and now his family is fighting to have it implemented throughout the U.S.

Then, I thought what does God think about this. You know how we begin praying “Oh God get him and make him pay” …. but then God put in my heart that it takes one sacrifice, to set others free. This one case can set millions free … this one injustice can create justice for all those to come. Just like with a man in Texas by the name of Tim Cole … his in-justice caused justice for millions of people facing death and time in jail …. just like God sending us His son …. the in justice done to him justified us and set us free from bondage and death of sin.

So, while we know an innocent life was lost and no it should not have happened. Lets look on with hope that this will really open the eyes of the people of this land … and that we create a movement and a law to prevent this from happening again.

RIP Trayvon Martin and Thank you Jesus … for being the leader of movement to reach and touch millions and thank you for you sacrifice to set me free.

Life ….

So today … I had a random fit of irritabilty. Which was completely random and totally out of the blue and apparently for some unknown reason.  I ended up calling my husband to “let him have it” all over a changed password. So after nearly 45mins of being on the phone with the intial reason of calling way behind us we some how get on the subject of the world “coming to an end” in Decemeber.

Being the Jesus FANATIC that I am … I said that I was not worried about it because no where in the bible did it mention my purpose driven life ending like that. I want to go out in a bang … having fufilled everything God has called for me to do … mind you I havent skimmed the surface of my calling. Anyway, I went on to tell him, that some thing could very well happen because mother nature is capable of any and everything, but the world coming to an end …. I dont think so at least not this way.

We had many random subjects to follow that from … if people could be quarantined due to illnesses that alot of people suffer from regularly to depending on others for help … is it wrong to place that burden on a person or isn’t it? The effect of one persons sickness on everyone. The willingsness of the family to be there for them. Is there really healing after you have overcome a potientially deadly disease, to the common cold … we talked about EVERYTHING!

We finally came to the conclusion that are lives are only mere vapors. My husband said we try to prolong death but it is inevitable .. you cannot escape it.  Here today gone tomorrow. We are only in our late 20’s and we have been together for 10 wonderful years and produced three goregous children  but it seems like we just met.

We reasoned that  …life is short.

I concluded that this life no matter how long or how short … is only given by the grace and mercies of God. We ought to make the most of our time here. Make it purposeful and be sure to leave a positive impact no matter how big or small.

Try not to think too much on things you have no control over … but give it to God becasue that is what he told us to do. He also said not to worry about tomorrow .. all while promising us trails and tribulations. But he did also say having done all we can do just stand.

That is what life is made of  .. those up and downs. Being able to fight hard and fail then being able to some times just  stand and succeed.

Life was made so simple in all of its complexities.

Embrace life and take it for all that it is and all that it is not.

Life is short … give your life to Christ … Laugh often .. Love deeply … forgive yourself … forgive others … smell the roses … feel the breeze and complain less.
