Sharing is Caring …

I just wanted to briefly share something with you all.

As I stated in my last post .. I am earnestly fighting to keep the revelation, understanding and peace I have just been given.

I feel as though I am in a good place … not that I have already attained or am already perfected (in the words of Apostle Paul)  but I press on towards that place that God has predestined for me to be ( In the words of “Me”)!!

So, I know lately I have been going through eye-opening moments in my walk and not just eye-opening (that really watered down what God is doing in my opinion) I have been experiencing life altering, soul foundation shaking, lights of heaven, angels descending from on high, trumpet sounding, earthquake causing  demon scattering, mind-blowing, jaw dropping, salivation causing light bulb moments.

Where the tactics of the enemy has been exposed, where you think you knew how him and imp’s worked and then you find out that you really did not it so much more advanced than what you think. Although, the devil is a defeated foe … he certainly is not stupid and most definitely is playing for keeps.

We are in our second or third month of Elijah’s Company, School of the Prophets in which in this month we are learning and studying on deliverance. One thing that Prophetess D spoke on is how the kingdom of darkness is a well put together system. Organized, yep it is .. even thought we all know their demise .. them defeated suckers are organized and when they play they do not play fair.

The jokers most definitely know who is carrying the true authority of their Father and who is not.

” Jesus I know, Paul I know but who are YOU?”

“OUCH”

So, with that it is important that we as children of God walk with all diligence. I shared this with God in prayer.

I pray all the time God keep me mindful … Keep me sober, Keep my eyes open and sometimes when we think our eyes open God shows us otherwise.

I thank God for my leaders and I bless God for my senior leaders who are always there to teach and to pour into their people!

“Anytime there is great elevation there is great warfare. So just because this is a time when we celebrate and we are jubilant does not mean we let our guards down. We must always be mindful of the warfare”  Apostle and Prophetess Hathaway

 Well, golly day!

Over the past few days, my leaders opened up my eyes to the tricks and the schemes of the enemy!

It made me open my eyes and really step back and say, “Wow” .

How easily the enemy can come in run a muck and you now here you are sitting there pointing the finger and harboring anger and whatever else you pick up … and now you are fighting flesh and blood and not even paying attention to the real enemy.

Through, this revelation it lead me to repent and really ask God to work on me. So, I laid right back on the potter’s wheel realizing “this pot still ain’t finished”

Fortunately, we serve a God who knows and understands very well how His children are LOL.

God is always speaking and He is always waiting behind the door when we knock, He is always there to show His face when we seek Him and righteousness.

He sent me a scripture Tuesday morning

Ephesians 5:15-20

“15 Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, 16 making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. 17 Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is. 18 Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit, 19 speaking to one another with psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit. Sing and make music from your heart to the Lord,20 always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.”

and THEN He sent me this

2 Corinthians 7:9-11

“9 yet now I am happy, not because you were made sorry, but because your sorrow led you to repentance. For you became sorrowful as God intended and so were not harmed in any way by us. 10 Godly sorrow brings repentance that leads to salvation and leaves no regret, but worldly sorrow brings death. 11 See what this godly sorrow has produced in you: what earnestness, what eagerness to clear yourselves, what indignation, what alarm, what longing, what concern, what readiness to see justice done. At every point you have proved yourselves to be innocent in this matter.”

So .. make sure saints that we are walking circumspectly, and that we are living not as unwise but as wise. We have to  understand that weapons of our warfare are not carnal!!

We learned in our class that if the enemy can get you focused on strife between your brother and sisters and if he can get you focused on what talent, gift and calling someone else has on their life then he has already defeated and distracted you and you missed the real attack.

That is why it is important to be secure in who you are remember we are many different parts but we make up ONE body.

That is why it is SUPER important to remember that the weapons of our warfare ARE NOT CARNAL.

The war we fight is not flesh and blood but it is kingdom against kingdom. It is principalities and rulers in dark places.

It is one kingdom trying to advance over the other kingdom.

We got to know that while we are wrapped in flesh … we are spiritual beings first.

But I say all that to say that God had showed me that I wasn’t living as “wise” as I thought.

There is always room for improvement, there is always more that we can and need to be learning and God opening my eyes and showing me just how thoughtless and completely unaware our human nature can be … brought me into repentance.

A true Godly repentance always produces fruit.

True repentance is a turning away from a sin, from a bad habit.

So, I thought I would share that before I turn in for the night.

Apostle Mike says we need to “Master Repentance”. So I pray that we all master repentance.  That we come transparent before the one who knows us best anyway and lay everything at His feet. Allow God to show you areas of opportunities within your life.

Make sure that we are walking as wise and being sober and vigilant and filled with God’s spirit which gives us life.

Ok I am getting sleepy … LOL

I love you all God Bless and Good Night.

Oh

Article: 10 Roadblocks of Prophetic Ministry

Praise the Lord!

I’m sick and in bed and my Husband will not let me do anything (which is not all that bad)! So while I am temporarily on bed rest I decided to catch up on some work and catch up on my blog!

I wanted to share an article my Pastor posted to Facebook earlier today.

10 Roadblocks of Prophetic Ministry.

Since, the end of January I have been a student in the Elijah’s Company, School of the Prophets. It is facilitated by my  AWESOME Pastors, Apostle Michael and Prophetess Danielle Hathaway.  Where we have thrown ourselves into the prophetic and into the different realms, different streams, different administrations, different giftings of the prophetic.

Honestly, I have learned so much about the prophetic and so much about God himself through this class and it has really been an eye opening experience for me. I have so gained so much clarity and confidence in who I am and who I have been created to be these past few months.

I was speaking to my husband the other night (Monday night to be exact) and I had just came from a conference and ordination service for my leaders; we had traveled down to Portsmouth Virginia and so I was completely full and still basking in God’s glory. Prior to me coming down stairs and talking to my husband, I was thinking that what I have obtained, the peace, the understanding, the clarity, the joy …. I was thinking that I must do what I have to do to keep it. I felt as though I was in a good place spiritually.

So anywho, I came downstairs to chat with my Hubby and he said to me

“You are in a good place, where things are clear and you have gained some clarity. You have come from out of the fog and even thought things aren’t totally clear you can still see more than you did before and now you must keep yourself out of the fog.”

I was blown away … because I had just thought that and I had not said anything to him. I hadn’t really had the opportunity to share all the events, so there was nothing for him to go off of.

Then, I was blown away because I was like I know my Daddy hears me and I received it as confirmation.

My Hubs was on point.

I told myself that … I do not want to be hindered when it comes to hearing from God and ministering to His people. We are one body with many different parts and whatever part you may be whether the arm, neck, shoulder, collar bone, finger, spine .. a ligament whatever you are, where ever you find yourself do it all to the glory and do it with all your heart.

God is always speaking. God loves His people.

There are people who currently are not in position to hear God’s voice, some people are not in a place where they know the thoughts their Father has towards them. Some need to hear that confirmation that all of God’s thoughts towards them are good and none of evil.

Fortunately, we are in that place and we are here for a reason.

.. to build them up and get them to a place where they can hear and then they in return can go and build up and edify their brothers in sisters in the likeness of Jesus.

Ephesians 4 11-13

11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; 12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: 13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ”

So whatever gift, calling, office, mantle, anointing .. whatever you have use it fully to God’s glory. Every gift I have I give it to God to use to advance His kingdom.

One thing I love is, I believe it is Paul who says don’t use your freedom to do evil.

Make sure your heart has been purified, make sure your ways and motives have been tried.

David says for God to search him and to know his heart and ways.

With all of that being said it brings me to this article, that even as I read I prayed.  I encourage you to do the same.

The harvest has come people and they are looking for the light in the midst of the darkness. If we truly be children of the light then we need to make sure are light is bright. We need to make sure that we are maturing in God. My Pastor and my Prophetess said that in this season it is time for us to MATURE.

Ephesians 4 goes on to say:

14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;”

So, lets grow up saints. Lets get off of the breast milk and begin to sit at the table and digest some spiritual meat.

I always compare the word to steak .. which I love and often crave LOL .. lets do likewise with the Word of God.

But it is time for us to MATURE .. and to take responsibility for our  actions and for our salvation.

It’s time to take off the old man and put on the new. It is time to allow God to fully process and mold us into the Men and Women He destined us to be from the beginning of time.

So, I pray that you enjoy this article … and I, once again, encourage you to pray as you read this if you identify yourself within the words and even if you don’t. The word tells us not to think of yourself more highly than you ought. It could be you Boo!!

Enjoy and Happy Blogging.

10 Roadblocks of Prophetic Ministry

By Michelle McClain

Woe to them! For they have gone in the way of Cain, have run greedily in the error of Balaam for profit, and perished in the rebellion of Korah. —Jude 11, (NKJV)

Accuracy is important to the prophet’s ministry. Accuracy is defined as the quality or state of being correct or precise. There are things that can hinder and block accuracy, such as prejudices, misconceptions, doctrinal obsessions, sectarian views, bitterness, rejection, and lust. Prophets and prophetic people need to be careful that we guard our hearts against things that can block our prophetic flow and the accuracy of the word of the Lord.

Can the fig tree, my brethren, bear olive berries? either a vine, figs? so can no fountain both yield salt water and fresh. —James 3:12

Accuracy is important, and we want to speak what the Father gives us to speak. James talked about both sweet and bitter water coming from the same fountain. Our wells must be pure. What comes forth must be pure. Our fountains must be pure. We cannot allow ourselves to be hindered and bound by our own issues.

Here are some things that can be roadblocks to prophetic accuracy.

1. Too opinionated—Many prophetic people stumble because they feel that their opinion is God’s opinion. God’s thoughts are always higher than the thoughts of men. Many times prophets can become narrowminded and dogmatic about revelations they believe to be a truth received from God.

2. Prejudices—This can be cultural or religious. This includes being prejudiced to a race, gender, age group, denomination, or movement.

3. Rejection and fear of rejection—Rejected people need deliverance or they will minister out of hurt. The priests could not have scabs (Lev. 21:20). Scabs are unhealed wounds that can become infected. Rejection leads to isolation, and prophets are called to associate and minister to people. Rejection can lead to prostituting the prophetic gift—prophets giving prophetic words to people just to be accepted by them. The root of this spirit is insecurity. Basically we reason with ourselves, saying, “I will get acceptance if I tell them what they want to hear.” This also leads to flattery.

4. Fear of man—The Bible says, “The fear of man brings a snare” (Prov. 29:25, NKJV). “Snare” is the Greek mowqesh, which means to bait, lure. It’s an iron ring placed in the nostril of a beast.1 Fear of man leads us around like a beast with a ring in our nose. We must fear God more than man. The only way to overcome fear is to have faith in God.

5. Bitterness—Unresolved hurts lead to bitterness. Angry and bitter prophets can be tainted in their prophetic flow. Hebrews 12:15 says, “Looking carefully lest anyone fall short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up cause trouble, and by this many become defiled” (NJKY). Bitterness can be a root hidden in the heart going undetected. This heart condition springs up at the most inopportune time.

6. Respect of persons—This can be a religious spirit. The high priest carried the stones of all the tribes on his heart, and we should carry the whole church in our hearts and not be limited to organizations and denominations. True prophetic ministry will learn how to minister the word of the Lord to all kinds of people and denominations because Jesus is Lord of all the earth. God likes variety and different tribes; that is why He had twelve of them. A Baptist preacher once told me, “I’m Baptist born and Baptist bred, and when I die I’ll be Baptist dead.” Some people will never leave the church denomination, and this shouldn’t disqualify them from receiving a prophetic word. The prophetic anointing is not designed to change church culture; it’s designed to change the hearts and minds of the people who affect the culture. God loves the Baptists. He even had one in the New Testament—John the Baptist. Prophecy is never used to establish new principles in a denomination or organization. A skilled prophetic minister can deliver the heart of God without partiality. I found that many different denomination leaders have invited me to teach and train their people in the prophetic because of trust and relationship. James 2:9 says, “But if ye have respect to persons, ye commit sin, and are convinced of the law as transgressors.”

7. Human compassion—This is having compassion on that which God is judging. Jesus rebuked Peter and said, “Get thee behind me, Satan” (Matt. 16:23). Jesus spoke what He saw the Father doing. Prophets cannot allow human compassion to dictate their prophetic flow. There are times you need to minister correction to people you love, and it can be hard, but prophets must pledge their allegiance to the Lamb of God.

Prophesying truth brings deliverance to the hearer. I have learned that every time I neglect to speak the truth to someone, I lose my power to discern or my hearing in that situation becomes dull.

8. Judgmental—This is the opposite of mercy, and when one has a religious spirit he can point out problems with great accuracy but seldom have a solution. All they have done is judged and torn down. Beware of pride and being overcritical. The critical prophet with pointing of the finger is not ministering out of the heart of God.

9. Judging by appearance—Looking at a person’s hand for a ring before giving a word about marriage or looking at someone’s countenance for some emotional signals is judging by appearance. Samuel had to anoint David although he was a boy. God told the prophet to judge not according to appearance (1 Sam. 16:7).

10. Lust—The simple definition of lust is having a self absorbed desire for an object, person, or experience. When we are in lust, we place the object of our desire above all. Prophets must guard their hearts from the lust for power, prestige, promotion, and wealth.

Lust in these areas will cause you to be drawn away from the will of God into a place of error and deception. Unresolved lust issues of the heart have serious implications to the validity of a prophet’s ministry. These lust issues create stumbling blocks to accurate prophetic ministry. If you’re not delivered from them, they can entice and drag you down a path of falsehood, causing you to potentially become a false prophet. “But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed” (James 1:14).

Being developed in a sectarian environment is not the best for a prophet. It can warrant any of these issues to taint or color the way a prophet delivers the word of the Lord. Prophets have to be developed in the proper environment, else they can develop or be influenced by religious spirits. Religious spirits are real, and they can work in the environment of churches and sectarian groups.
Religious spirits work where people believe in prophecy and the gifts of the Spirit. We need discernment and deliverance to avoid contamination.

Prophets cannot allow any bias to affect their words. Bias is prejudice in favor of or against one thing, person, or group compared with another, usually in a way considered to be unfair. God is fair, and He is no respecter of persons.
