God …

Psalm 24

Of David. A psalm.

The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it,
    the world, and all who live in it;
for he founded it on the seas
and established it on the waters.

Who may ascend the mountain of the Lord?
Who may stand in his holy place?
The one who has clean hands and a pure heart,
who does not trust in an idol
or swear by a false god.[a]

They will receive blessing from the Lord
and vindication from God their Savior.
Such is the generation of those who seek him,
who seek your face, God of Jacob.[b][c]

Lift up your heads, you gates;
be lifted up, you ancient doors,
that the King of glory may come in.
Who is this King of glory?
    The Lord strong and mighty,
    the Lord mighty in battle.
Lift up your heads, you gates;
lift them up, you ancient doors,
that the King of glory may come in.
10 Who is he, this King of glory?
    The Lord Almighty —
he is the King of glory.

What a wonderful God we serve!

I was saying a little prayer this morning on the way to work and I had soon found myself delighting in God … delighting myself in His power, in His, omnipotence, His Might, His Wisdom in His Glory.

In His presence.

I was amazed at the fact that the God that we serve is the same God of old.

The God that we serve today is the same God that created the heavens and Earth.

The same God whose words formed the earth, the same God who breathed the breath of life and gave a mere frame existence.

We serve a God whose power has no end.

We serve a God that never sleeps nor slumbers but is attentive to every call and cry.

We serve a God that swears by himself  … He has no need to lie.

What is man that you, God, are mindful of Him?

Your love for us never-ending.

So much so that you sent your only son to die for us … that we may be considered righteous.

The God we serve is righteous, holy, just and faithful!

I am glad He is faithful.

The same God of yesterday … the same God of Abraham we have today. And what made over the top and excited was that He is the same God. While everything else has changed our God did not.

I was praying for God to provide the needs of His people and in His word it says do not worry about tomorrow and to let it worry about itself.

And if the birds of the air don’t worry .. then why should I?

then I thought about how on Mt. Moriah God provided a ram in the bush for Abraham ..

That is when Abraham called God Jehovah Jireh …

God Provides!
Blew me away … completely!

The same God who provided for Abraham is the one who still to this day provides all of our needs and knows them before we even make mention!

Our God is faithful people and He never changes!

We serve a mighty God and as usual … I am excited about that! He is a great God that loves us all and thinks highly of us.

Our God is worthy to be praised!

I am daring you today .. to trust Him a little more!

Take your faith in Him to another.

Know that He is exactly who He says that He is.

Fall in love with Him.

Taste and see that the Lord is Good.

Love y’all and God Bless.

What Are You Planting?

Galatians 6:7-8. (NKJV)

7 Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.
8 For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life.

The world teaches you that if you’re cunning and slick enough, you can fool, trick, and deceive almost anybody. But, no matter how many people you may fool, God is never fooled! Whatever kind of seeds you plant, you can be sure that in time you will bear the same kind of fruit. If you sow ungodly seeds, you will reap ungodly fruit. If you spend all your time indulging your flesh – that which is temporal – in the end you will…

Forgiveness is a choice not a feeling.

Matthew 6:14 “For if you forgive men their trespasses, Your Heavenly Father will also forgive you.”
Forgiving someone is giving it to God, refusing to try and vindicate yourself. Forgiveness takes time, and it’s a choice that needs to be made, it is not a feeling! Choose to forgive, lay it down and surrender that hurt and anger to God. Allow Him to heal your broken heart and don’t allow un-forgiveness to keep you from what God has for you.

May the LORD bless Nigeria, American and Israel and take care of us; May the LORD make His face shine upon us, And be gracious to us; May the Lord lift up His countenance upon us, And give us peace, In Jesus Christ Name, we pray! Amen!

Avenue To Power

READ:2 Corinthians 12:1-10

I will . . . boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. —2 Corinthians 12:9

When Tarah was in high school, she had a growing fear that she would someday battle a serious illness. So she began to pray—asking God to spare her from this imagined illness. Then she reached a turning point in her thinking, and she yielded her future to God no matter what.

Years later, Tarah’s doctor found a cancerous tumor, which was successfully treated with chemotherapy. Tarah says that because she had entrusted her future to God, she was ready when the disease came. Her problem became an avenue for God’s strength.

This idea of surrendering…

Holiness Costs

Everyone who has this hope in him purifies himself, just as he is pure.
1 John 3:3
There are many Christians who like the notion of being holy as long as it cost them nothing-no hardships, no difficulties, no scorn and no financial or property loss.
Men like Samuel Wesley dug the wells of holiness and suffered losses-burning of crops, continual threats of physical harm and false imprisonment-yet they stood their ground for holiness.
Though men hated him, Samuel continued to live a life of holiness before God. Though his house was set on fire and he almost lost his son, John, who was trapped on the second floor of the burning building-he stood for holiness.
God is expecting us to stand for holiness too.
There is a cost to live a life…

Secret Sins

Thou hast set our iniquities before thee, our secret sins in the light of thy countenance. Psalms 90:8

Besides expressing faith in God, the righteous is identified by consistent right-standing with God. According to Ezekiel 3:21, the righteous is expected not to live in sin, but to continue to do what glorifies God. Righteousness is not something you engage today and disengage tomorrow like some people think. You do not abstain from sin only when those you respect are around, but also when they are not around. The righteous does not only abstain from public sins but also from secret ones. The challenge of most believers is not how to avoid open sins but how to stay righteous in their thoughts realm and to keep away from touching the unclean things when they are all by themselves. That is a major challenge and…
